QUOTE OF THE DAY

I object to being told that I am saving daylight when my reason tells me that I am doing nothing of the kind... At the back of the Daylight Saving scheme, I detect the bony, blue-fingered hand of Puritanism, eager to push people into bed earlier, and get them up earlier, to make them healthy, wealthy, and wise in spite of themselves.
---Robertson Davies, The Diary of Samuel Marchbanks, 1947

How in the world did you find my blog? I tried as best I could to answer your question, but it's probably lacking some critical element for understanding. Or maybe that's the point. "I know it when I see it."
On a totally unrelated side note, my oldest daughter graduates next year as an elementary teacher.
Thanks for visiting and email me your snail mail if you want in on the free art.
