As part of a Groundswell project, a group of young people transformed the entrance of the 191st street tunnel that connects the (1) train to Broadway. This is the way the entrance looked before.

We kinda stumbled upon this at Central Park. If you leave an ID, you can borrow fishing rods and fish right in the Harlem Meer. It's catch and release, of course, but it was really fun.

Here's yours truly with Naomi and Piper. We went to a comedy show and then to Havana Central for the most mediocre Cuban food combined with awful service and a creepy waiter. The best part was the $7.00 slice of Tres Leches Cake that we didn't order but still had to pay for. Good Times!!

Los Taxistas food truck/ restaurant is the perfect spot in highbridge to get cheap, yummy "concon con habichuelas" on the go. There's one of the cabbies posing for me. My friend #77 was camera shy, but he still gets a shout-out. :-)

One of my summer projects was to organize my printed pictures. The problem with this is that I start reminiscing and lose focus very quickly. I still have 7 of these to organize, and it looks like it won't get done any time soon.

I lost my sandal today at Garden State Mall. Or at least that's what Luisito and Esmeralda want me to think. See, I kinda fell asleep as soon as I stepped foot in the car, and when I woke up in the parking lot of Stop and Shop in Riverdale...poof! My shoe was gone. I had to call my sister to bring me another pair of chancletas down.....grrrr..!!! I hate it when this happens.
